Hi, and welcome to my private practice. I am a professionally trained clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in White Center, offering virtual and in-person sessions to help with any type of thoughts, feelings or behaviors that are causing you trouble. If you're looking for someone to talk to, in a safe and non-judgemental space, you're in the right place. All are welcome here.

Mental health help
Akeso (pronounced ah-KEE-so) is the name of an ancient Greek goddess who stands for well-being and the healing process. I chose this name to emphasize that the path to mental health and well-being is a process that takes time and is done in incremental steps.
Similarly, coaching is a form of development over time, in which I will support and guide you on the way towards your chosen goal.
I have a degree in clinical psychology and am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, with over 10 years of practical experience. However, these qualifications were obtained in Europe and are not recognized as equivalent in the US. This is why I am not officially licensed and am offering coaching instead of psychotherapy. If you would like to know more about my background, see my About page.
Why Akeso Coaching?
How does it work?
My intake starts with a free 15 minute trial session, in which we'll get to know each other and see if it's a good fit.
If we both decide that we'd like to move forwards and work together, I will spend the first few sessions asking questions to learn your history, before collaborating with you on an individual treatment plan. Every step of the way, you are my contractual partner. Everything stays confidential between us.
A standard session lasts 50 minutes and costs 150 USD. It is recommended to have regular sessions once every 1-2 weeks. Reaching the desired goal can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Cancellation fees apply when notice is not given within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
